Any Texas citizen is welcome to nominate individuals to be Texas State Artists.

We will contact nominees for additional information, so please provide complete contact information, if possible.

Nominees must:

• be native Texans or five-year residents of the state, as well as having US citizenship
• have received recognition for a high level of excellence and success in their discipline
• have received critical reviews in state, regional or national publications
